Rail transit on-board passenger information system is a service system that provides all kinds of consultation for passengers on trains based on multimedia network technology. In addition, it is the general name of train broadcasting system, train information display system and train video surveillance system. It has been concerned by more equipment manufacturers in recent years, and manufacturers have actively participated in the construction of urban rail transit.

A total of 18 cities issued bids for urban rail transit on-board PIS system in Chinese mainland region (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), with a total of 38 new projects and 9 renovation projects, involving a total of 5810 vehicles (of which 4850 were newly built and 960 renovated). According to the statistics of the number of vehicles, Suzhou Huaqi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid accounted for about 32.6%, Tianjin Beihai Communication Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid accounted for about 21%.
